East Hartford Summer Youth Festival
For 61years EHSYF has provided youth and adults in the Greater East Hartford area with opportunities to learn about, participate in, and enjoy musical theater productions!
We are dedicated to providing high quality productions and to sharing this magnificent art form with everyone!
Calling All Theater Kids Age 8-13!!!
EHSYF invites children age 8-13 to join our cast of our winter musical:
Holly Jolly Jukebox- "Spinning" December Through the Decades! Rehearsals begin Thursday, October 9th. For more info and to sign up, visit www.ehsyf.org!
We have chosen a one-act musical just for kids 8-13 and we will be performing it as part of East Hartford Holiday Fest in December!
Rehearsals will be held in the auditorium of the EH Community Center on Tuesday & Thursday evenings in October and November (with the exception of a rehearsal on Friday October 17th & a dress rehearsal on Friday 12/5. We will have a daytime performance on Saturday, December 6th and possibly another on Sunday (in discussions with Parks & Rec about this). If the Sunday performance cannot happen, we will look into adding another performance at the EH Senior Center based on everyone's availability.
Our first rehearsal will be on Thursday October 9th from 6-8pm at the East Hartford Community Center (50 Chapman Place).
If your child would like to join the cast, please click below to fill out our sign-up sheet! We will reach out with more information once we receive your sign-up!
Please note- We will not hold auditions for this show, as there are speaking roles available for all who join and want them! There is no pressure, so if your child would prefer not to have lines in the show and sing & dance along with the full cast, they are absolutely welcome to do that! There's plenty of music and choreography to learn! You can let us know their preference in the sign-up sheet.
